Join Minneapolis filmmaker Lyn Corelle (Make the Golf Course a Public Sex Forest!) for a screening of a program of her short films, including A Corpse Among Corpses and Letter from Minneapolis, both made in collaboration with Sasha Warren. A Corpse Among Corpses is an essay film about the decaying graveyards of asylums across the Midwest. Over Lyn’s free-associative imagery, Sasha reflects on the potential for acts of solidarity with the mad of times past to inform our lives and struggles today. Letter from Minneapolis is Lyn and Sasha’s response to a call made by the Network of Alternatives to Psychiatry in 2022 for localized reflections on the state of care.
