O.R.C.A. is a social and programming space in southwest Philly for anarchists and their radical friends. We host film screenings, discussion groups, workshops, book talks, and are available as a meeting space for radical groups.
We also have a library, work area, and host open hours on Wednesdays from 5PM to 9:30PM!
Born out of a desire to see more physical spaces for radicals to collide and scheme with one another, O.R.C.A. aspires to convene rebels coming from a variety of tendencies.
Most programming and resources at O.R.C.A. are free and open to the public, but our location is private. Email or DM for our address, and please never share publicly. We have a very small (non-existent) budget, and are often looking for donations—check out our wishlist.
Racist, misogynistic, trans/homo/fat-phobic, classist, authoritarian, and otherwise-fucked behavior won’t be tolerated <3
A note on accessibility:
Unfortunately, O.R.C.A. is not a very physically accessible space. Located in Southwest Philly off a trolley line, the space is up two flights of stairs in a building without an elevator. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms on the same floor as O.R.C.A.. Inside the space, we have couches, a variety of chairs, benches, and blankets. The space is cold in the winter and we run two air-conditioners in the hot weather. We have coffee, tea, some snacks and seltzer, and always welcome donations.
O.R.C.A. has masks and COVID tests available for free. We expect people to wear masks at larger events, also we run an air filter during events.
